Which parcel service is in charge of delivering my chip tuning kit?

Your consignment is delivered by UPS.
As soon as your shipment leaves our company, we will send you an e-mail including the tracking number with which you can track your shipment online.

Does the RaceChip Chiptuning affect my motor?

No. RaceChip makes use of the performance reserves of your motor envisaged by the vehicle manufacturer.
As the RaceChip is only connected in case the performance is actually demanded (when accelerating) the components in question such as motor, coupling, gear and brakes are only stressed to a technically reasonable extent. All protection programs (emergency program) of the motor are maintained. For any kind of motor tuning, we recomment performing such tuning only where regular maintenance has been performed, such timing belt, oil changes, etc.

 

Can I install the RaceChip without any motor vehicle knowledge?

Of course, installation is very easy. All you need for installation is included in our scope of supply. Our video shows the easy installation…

Can you use the RaceChip once again if you change your vehicle?

Yes, if you have bought a common rail diesel vehicle again or if it is otherwise compatible, you can use your RaceChip again. It is possible that you will need a new cable. This is available from us at an economical price. It is also possible to transfer the chip to an injection pump vehicles. Our technical team is available to answer your questions about the details.

Which methods of payment are possible?

We offer five fast and secure methods of payment.

When you use PayPal, you can chose between payment via credit card (Visa or eurocard) or direct debit.

At what mileage can I install the RaceChip, and how many kilometres can I expect to get from it?

You can install a RaceChip tuning chip regardless of the mileage on your car. You don’t take a risk with our gentle digital technology. Many car dealers install the RaceChip in new cars from the first kilometre. However, the manufacturer's recommended break-in time should be observed. There are of course customers who install a RaceChip beyond 200,000 km. No problem for our digital technology.

Does a TÜV(MOT)-certificate come with RaceChip?

Our products are delivered without TÜV(MOT)-part certificate. As we supply throughout the world and the TÜV-requirements vary from country to country, our customers have to take care of this TÜV(MO)-registration on their own. The quality of the RaceChip makes it possible to get a component certificate in the form of an individual approval without a problem. Please note that there is an additional charge for an individual approval.

Can you detect the RaceChip after removal?

Of course, not. After removal of the RaceChip you cannot find out that such a RaceChip was once installed. In contrast to the chiptuning by manipulation, the original vehicle software (called OBD-tuning), the RaceChip can be removed without any trace.

Will the exhaust gas emissions increase?

No, there‘s no strong soot emission, therefore the applicable limit values are observed.

My car is equipped with a diesel particular filter. Can I still install a RaceChip?

Yes, our digital technology allows the installation of RaceChips in cars, either with or without diesel particular filter.

Is it possible to save fuel despite increased performance? If so, how does it work?

If your driving behaviour remains the same as before the installation of the RaceChip, your fuel consumption will not increase and you can still feel the tuning. After installation you should notice an obvious reduction in fuel consumption. A great number of satisfied customers have reported a reduction in fuel consumption of as much as 1.5 l/100 km. To explain this: Due to the increased torque you can still drive in a high gear, while switching down earlier under serial condition. This, however, varies depending on the model, the driving behaviour and driver itself.

Is a radio remote control available, too?

No, as the tuning kits with radio remote control are normally not EMC-tested and thus not safe in traffic. We only deliver chip tuning kits that are safe for street use. This kind of safety cannot be guaranteed by radio remote control.
